Hey there... sweet cheeks!!

Over the holiday weekend we had family in town visiting, so of course we spent some time walking and driving around Vermont to appreciate some of this beauty that surrounds us. This past week was the time for peak foliage, and the colors were absolutely beautiful!! The leaf peepers were out in full force, taking advantage of the infinite photo opportunities as well as the temperatures, which were right around 70 degrees. In addition, the Canadian holiday meant even more visitors who came to enjoy this time in Vermont.

Those are beautiful photos. I was out the other day and noticed all the gorgeous leaves. Sadly most of my town is in oak trees. But there are still a few maple trees to see.

You absolutely must submit this post to Dave at The Home Garden in Tennessee! He is doing a link to all the Autumn pics from bloggers.

Vermont has the most beautiful spread of fall glory I have ever seen. It is nice to see you and I will be back. Those are stunning photos.

Beautiful colors! I don't think I've ever been mooned by a scarecrow before! The scenery around you is amazing. It's no wonder fall in Vermont is so well known. I'll add your post to the project, thanks for participating!

I enjoyed sharing my fall photos. I had a lot of fun taking them. The photos that are looking up into the trees were taken in the woods behind our house, and the other photos were taken within a couple miles of us. Funny, we drove all over heck that day, but the best displays were right under our noses! We found the scarecrow during our travels that same day, and I just couldn't resist taking his picture. Skeeter: the best time to visit is usually the end of September to the beginning of October. The foliage is already coming to an end, and it's not even been a week since those photos were taken. : )

Your fall color photos are just beautiful, Liisa! You live in an area that's similar to Nova Scotia, at least to The Highlands of Cape Breton. Gorgeous.

Sarah,
Thanks for visiting!! Our visitors enjoyed the fall foliage very much. I am looking forward to visiting Maine for the first time next summer, and spending some time at Acadia National Park!!

Thank you, Taylor! I love Vermont as well, although I must admit it was a bit of a transition... I grew up in the northwest.
