Such delicate shades of purple and silver. I always preferred winter on a photograph.

What a lovely photo Liisa! I suppose that frost is neccessary, but I sure hate to say goodbye to my flowers. I'm off to see them now. I see frost out on the lawn, and I fear for the worst. But my pots are hiding in the garage! I just couldn't say goodbye quite yet.

growingthumbs: It sure has been chilly these past few mornings!

camellia: I am completely addicted to purple. I am a fan of winter photographs as well. The soft colors and intricate patterns left on the landscape are always so interesting!!

msrobin: It's always a little difficult to say goodbye to the flowers. I'm glad yours are tucked away in a safe spot! : )

The last hard frost signifies such a change in a gardeners life. It's hard not to feel that frost yourself and go into dormancy. Feel free to visit my blog sometime.

Di,

Thanks for visiting! As much as I hate to see the flowers go, I have to admit that I do love having four seasons. I am going to head over and check out your blog. : )
